Pro Res Care
In areas with higher iron in the water, Ideal water may recommend using a product like Pro Res Care on a regular basis. It is dispensed with a feeder bottle which is installed in the brine (salt) tank. All that’s needed is to maintain the liquid level in the feeder. This is easily done when adding salt.
Res Care is a specially formulated liquid resin cleaner designed to rid the softener of contaminants that salt alone cannot remove. Regular use of Res Care resin cleaner will restore the softener beads and control valve parts back to peak efficiency and maintain the life of the unit.
